Forgive me, but I'm scared. This post has nothing to do with any fandom, so please feel free to move on. I just need to get this out.
On Wednesday 5th July, my Mother was taken to hospital by ambulance. I was the one to call 000.
On Thursday, she was diagnosed with bacterial meningitis. It was caught early, apparently much earlier then normal, but she's been in the ICU for 5 days now and there has been no improvement.
She is being kept sedated, or else she tries to pull out the breathing tubes and IVs. She can still take the pulse/ox monitor off though.
Today, we (my sisters and I) were told she had stopped responding as well to the neuro checks. A second CT scan has shown pus on the brain. I am scared, and there is nothing I can do.
